Down on the eastern frame, in the growing shadow of Christchurch’s stadium rebuild, something magical happens every Tuesday night. The Galaxy, a dive bar built for sound, soul, and social connection, opens its doors to DJs, producers, MCs, and electronic music lovers from all walks of life.

Open Decks is a grassroots, no-ego, all-vibes night where the decks are open to anyone with something to share. Whether you're a seasoned selector or a bedroom beatmaker taking your first step into the booth, this is a space where you are welcomed.
