🎧 Introducing Caspian: The Beatmaker Weaving the Soundscape of Christchurch


Christchurch is home to a vibrant tapestry of artists, dreamers, and makers — and among them, Caspian Bailey stands out as a rising force in the city’s underground music scene.


Originally from Riwaka and now making waves in Ōtautahi, Caspian’s artistry is an invitation to explore the depths of Halftime DnB, Jungle, and Minimal Drum and Bass.


From self-released tracks to releases on iconic New Zealand labels like The Big Fresh Collective, One Eighty Records, and The KHZ Collective, Caspian’s journey has crossed oceans. His recent EPs on US-based labels Onset Audio and Armory showcase a global sound with local roots — driven, dynamic, and daringly original.


Caspian isn’t just about the music you hear on the dancefloor. Alongside Denzil and Loom, he co-hosts the RDU radio show “DREDSHED”, championing dark, immersive rhythms and fresh local sounds. Expect no filler here: his sets are packed with 100% original productions that blend intense Halftime breaks with atmospheric Jungle textures.
